Wolseley UK has purchased its 18,500 square metre distribution warehouse on the Berkeley Business Park in Worcester, from real estate investment manager, Valad Europe, for an undisclosed sum.
Rob Howe, head of UK real estate, Valad Europe, said: “Through close liaison with the tenant, who has been a long-term occupier at the Park, we were able to identify a change in Wolseley’s policy towards owner occupancy and, rather than risk losing an occupier, we agreed a deal that suited both parties.”
A Wolseley UK spokesperson said: “As a long-term occupier of the warehouse, this is a good deal for Wolseley UK.”
