LEAMINGTON SPA: Wolseley UK has sealed a five-year deal with a major communications solutions business to handle its administrative tasks.
The deal with Communisis covers scanning, indexing, document composition, personalised transactional and payroll documentation and postage, and uses the HP Extream platform to enable users to design documents for multiple platforms.
Communisis already handles the company's print requirements including supplying base stock, envelopes, and payslips, for its 1500 locations.
The venture means Communisis will have to produce more than 5 million transactional packs a year and handle more than 15 million images. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
