Bond It, one of the UK’s fastest growing manufacturers of sealants, adhesives and building chemicals, has adapted and evolved forging ahead in a world dramatically changed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bond It’s adhesive was used in the construction of a 500-bed capacity NHS Nightingale Hospital in the Harrogate Convention Centre.
It was opened on 21 April by Captain Tom Moore, the then 99-year-old army veteran who at the time had raised more £27 million to support health service workers.
Bond It has formulated a Hand Sanitiser and a Hand and Surface Sanitiser in response to the upsurge in demand for these products. Manufactured to approved WHO formulation, these are now available throughout its network of independent merchants.
Supporting one of its chosen local charities Bond It recently donated 100 bottles of sanitiser to NHS Overgate Hospice, Elland who has been providing palliative care to the Calderdale community since 1981.
Jess Bailey, Events Fundraiser at the Hospice, said: "A huge thank you to Bond It for kindly donating 100 bottles of Hand Sanitiser to the Hospice. This will help our doctors and nurses continue to care for our patients during these unsettling times."
