Are you seeking a role which involves pioneering new business with a high quality innovative solution to Construction Site Security with a well established and highly regarded UK company offering an amazing uncapped results driven rewards scheme?

We are retained by a leading supplier of MONITORED CCTV, ACCESS CONTROL and WIRELESS FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS who, due to continued success, are seeking to recruit a professional BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join their team covering LONDON & the SOUTH EAST.

The Individual

An experienced and enthusiastic sales professional to identify and develop new business opportunities for our Client’s products. The ideal candidate will have experience of promoting products within the Building Industry and have established contacts with the Top 100 Contractors in the London & South East of England.

Proven track record in delivering sales growth within the construction industry is a must along with the ability to identify possible business opportunities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Building and developing relationships with key main Contractors specifically with Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Key Management Level.

Progressing quotations to a conclusion and providing installation advice and identifying and progressing new project opportunities.

Updating the company database and completing electronic reporting procedures in accordance with the company requirements.

Providing feedback from the market on potential opportunities for product development.

Person Specification

· Understanding of Construction Industry routines

· Good organisational and time management skills

· Ability to demonstrate drive and self-motivation

· Able to work independently and on your own initiative and to organise and make presentations to customers as required

· Able to communicate technical information

· Ability to work to deadlines and understand the need to meet targets

· Able to research, recognise and progress project opportunities

· Proven track record in promoting products to the Top 100 Construction Companies within the region

· Proven results through sales growth

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Sufficient IT skills to interrogate and update the company’s electronic database

· Driving licence


All necessary training in relevant aspects of our Client’s business will be provided as required.
