Published:  21 May, 2010

COLCHESTER: Kent Blaxill supplied more than 450-litres of paint to refurbish Moot Hall. Refurbishment of the hall, part of Colchester's town hall, was undertaken by Colchester decorating company Coldec.

Main contractor for the refurbishment was Bakers of Danbury. It took eight weeks with 12 painters handling intricate work using specialist techniques to achieve a two-tone effect on the hall's columns and detailing painted in gold.
