Could your customers be superheroes?

Daredevils wanted for extreme challenges

Published:  24 May, 2010

KENT: Chandlers Building Supplies is searching for Sussex and Kent-based tradesmen and women who are keen adrenaline junkies and feel the need for speed should take part in the Chandlers' Champion charity campaign.

Contestants who must be over 18 years and fit and healthy are being invited to apply to act as a 'superhero' and experience one extreme sporting stunt for free. However, they will also be expected to raise sponsorship money that will be donated to a good cause of their choice.

The next Superhero challenge is a wet and wild white-water rafting experience in June.

The September Chandlers Champion will be jumping out of a plane at 10 000ft and freefalling for 30 seconds before their instructor opens a parachute.

The final stunt will see the Champion getting back into the water to swim with sharks.

Richard Skinner, commercial director at Chandlers in Margate commented: "This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has always wanted to try out an extreme sport but has never actually got round to it. All we ask is that our Chandlers Champions raise 250 each as a way of giving something back to their local community."

Daring tradesmen and women are being asked to contact Chandlers if they would like to be considered for one of the stunts. Email:
