New appointment at SCA

SCA has appointed Philip Lockwood as general manager at its Melton site.

Mr Lockwood, an experienced senior manager, joins SCA with a successful track record of achievement in roles including operations director and general manager. He brings with him a well-rounded knowledge of logistics, finance, commercial, sales, customer service and facilities management.

Reporting directly to managing director, John Griffiths, Mr Lockwood is tasked with improving productivity and output, along with the day-to-day running of the Melton site.

Mr Griffiths said: “We are extremely pleased to be welcoming Philip to SCA. He will be a key driver in our productivity improvement plans and will take our new Melton operation to the next level of efficiency and customer service.”
