Fourteen successful delegates from SCA Timber Supply’s 2014-15 timber training course recently visited the company’s facilities in Sweden.
The group visited SCA’s certified forests and tree nursery, in addition to putting their learning into context with a visit to the manufacturer’s Bollsta and Tunadal mills.
During the visit graduates were presented with their official BTEC certification.
Interest for SCA’s 2015-2016 training course, starting in September, is already running high and customers are advised to contact the company before places are all taken.
Managing director, John Griffiths, said: “To experience the scale and efficiency of our forests and Swedish production facilities is unique. It is often commented that the experience stays with our graduates throughout their careers.”
