Centurion Europe’s new showroom was declared ‘open for business’ recently when Peter Stone, executive director of the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (Bheta) officially cut the ribbon at the wholesaler and distributor’s newest facility.

Part of Centurion’s extensive office refit, the new showroom provides a permanent display of the company’s many brands including Powerlines, Plumbing Solutions and Andersons Gardening products, and is the ideal venue for invited customers to discuss business such as full range reviews and merchandising planograms.

Having started in hardware, which remains central to Centurion’s business, there are now over 25,000 products available including an extensive range of tools, DIY and decorative lines. Additionally, the company has developed into more than a wholesaler by supporting its 9,000 retail customers with expert advice on merchandising and marketing, as well as providing product and merchandising packages specifically tailored to a wide range of retail sectors including traditional hardware, DIY, garden and convenience.

Paul Kantecki, managing director at Centurion, said: “The new showroom is essential for the company’s development and allows us to showcase our offering to customers, many of whom are pleasantly surprised when they visit and see the scale of our operation first hand.”

David Geczi, director at Centurion added: “In addition, we offer in-house expertise to support our customers’ businesses and, with exceptional records for both order accuracy and delivery, our customers can trust both our products and our service.”

Peter Stone, executive director at Bheta, said: “The new showroom provides the perfect setting for customers to be able to see, touch and feel the fruits of this approach. It was a great pleasure to officially open the new Centurion showroom.”
