With the highly-anticipated arrival of the Energy related Products (ErP) Directive inching closer, Baxi is hitting the road on a nationwide tour with other Plumb and Parts Center suppliers in a bid to help ease the transition for installers.

Forming part of a wider Plumb and Parts Center initiative, the tour has been designed to help ensure installers are up to speed on the changes the ErP Directive will bring and how it will impact their day-to-day working life. In addition to other manufacturers, Baxi will be out in force at various events across the country where its expert team will be on hand to offer expert advice, answer any queries and provide practical hints and tips.

Having kicked off during April in Coventry, the Plumb and Parts Center ErP roadshow will tour the UK until mid-July, with Baxi taking part in talks in West Bromwich, Cardiff, Exeter, Glasgow, Norwich, Milton Keynes, Preston and London.

Paul Hardy, managing director at Baxi, said: “With the ErP Directive now just around the corner, we have received lots of enquiries from installers confused as to what it means and how it will impact the way they work. As such, the Plumb and Parts Center roadshows offer a great opportunity to meet installers in an informal setting and clear up any confusion they might have.”

He added: “In addition, we continue to provide free product training to Gas Safe engineers to make sure they understand the ErP Directive across our 14 UK training centres, and have lots of further plans in the pipeline to help ease the transition.”
