Tippers, going into its 100th year of business, has acquired Huthwaite Roofing Supplies.
Huthwaite Roofing Supplies had been trading for over 25 years and stocks a range of essential building materials alongside a core profile of specialist roofing supplies. After closing its doors for a short time before Christmas, the branch reopened on January 4th and is now back to business as usual. All current staff have been retained and normal opening hours have resumed.
Bill Tipper, of Tippers, said: “The acquisition of Huthwaite Roofing Supplies is a fantastic opportunity for Tippers as it means that we are now able to broaden our sales and delivery area to our current, and potential new customers, in the area.”
“We were very happy to be able to complete the acquisition before Christmas Day, as this meant that current HRS staff could celebrate the festive period without being uncertain of the future. Now we’re into the New Year, we are very much looking forward to developing the branch over the next 12 months. Current plans include a broadening of its stock range, plus a program of yard and shop improvements.”
