Covers Timber & Builders Merchants has announced that they will be sponsoring Burgess Hill Football Club during 2016.
The sponsorship funding from Covers will include the provision of new perimeter boards at their home ground - The Green Elephants Stadium - and funds towards producing the club’s match day programmes.
Terry Lace, Covers’ Burgess Hill depot manager, said: “We’re very proud to be supporting Burgess Hill FC and we hope that our funding helps to inspire the team and encourage other community backing. At Covers we have a great love of football and we look forward to being involved in the future success of Burgess Hill FC.”
Established in 1882, Burgess Hill Football Club was a founding member of the Sussex County Football Association. Known locally as the ‘Hillians’, the club attained the unique achievement of winning the Sussex Senior Cup three years running, resulting in permanently retaining the silver wear. The club continues to grow on and off the pitch venturing on to Step 3 of the Non-League pyramid this season.
