Actavo Hire & Sales Solutions, a supplier of specialised building equipment for hire and sale, launched Actavo Direct in 2015 and now celebrates its first birthday.

The bricks and clicks e-commerce portal offers a 24/7 online trade counter using its national branch network to deliver quality products direct to customers when and where they are needed.

Lynn Norton, Actavo e-commerce administrator said: “With the modern advances in technology and the ever-growing popularity of purchasing online, Actavo Direct complements our branch service seamlessly for our customers. It allows them to place an order through the website and then choose to have their items either delivered or to click and collect from one of our 26 branches across the country.”

Visitors to the website can also view product videos and health and safety guides, as well as access a direct line to a dedicated member to our customer service team should there be any queries.

Celebrating its first year, Actavo Direct will be running a competition for its customers offering them the chance to win FitBit devices worth £100. The prizes will be drawn every month throughout 2016 and all customers have a chance to enter online.

Wakefield College was the first to receive a FitBit prize after placing an order for crowd barriers. The college has chosen to auction its prize to raise further funds for the college.

Actavo is now working on phase two of Actavo Direct, making it even easier and faster to order online from its wide product range, and is currently developing a complimentary app for smart phones.
