Understanding the needs of electricians and retailers alike, Carl Kammerling International has introduced two new heavy-duty cable cutters to its already popular C.K tools cutters range - the Heavy Duty Cable Shear and the Heavy Duty Ratchet Cable Cutters.

Striking a good balance between ease of use, longevity and safety, Carl Kammerling has developed the new cutters with a range of innovative features to ensure optimum performance and customer satisfaction.

The Heavy Duty Cable Shears 530mm retail at £89.99 ex VAT, and feature high-grade special tool steel cutting jaws, forged and hardened to ensure an extended working life. The addition of powerful parrot-beak jaws allow tradesmen to safely and easily cut thick copper and aluminium cables up to 27mm in diameter.

Also manufactured using hardened high-grade steel cutting jaws, the Heavy Duty Ratchet Cable Cutters, retailing at £199.99 ex VAT, benefit from ratchet action further improving the functionality of the tool and making cutting large diameter cables effortless, efficient and neat.

Not only can the ratchet cutters make easy work of copper and aluminum cables up to 52mm in diameter, they are also capable of cutting SWA cable up to 36mm, further extending the benefits for the customer and the utility of the tool.

These new, innovative features of the C.K tools cable cutters enable electricians to finish a job in good time and to high, professional standards. Ensuring maximum comfort in use, their ergonomic design prevents health issues that can come with using lower quality tools, such as repetitive strain injuries.

Charles Whitfield, New Product Development Manager at Carl Kammerling International, commented: “At Carl Kammerling we are always researching new ways to improve the performance and efficiency of our products. With this in mind, our new heavy-duty cutters have been developed with high-grade steel to improve the power and capability of the cutting jaw, significantly reducing the amount of force required by tradesmen. This, along with the extended lifetime of the product, will improve the way professional electricians work as they can cut through cables safely, with greater speed and less effort”
