Runners from CRASH Patron companies joined the thousands of athletes of all abilities to take on the 34th Windsor Half Marathon on 25 September.

Taking place in Windsor Great Park, 90 athletes including teams from Patrons Imtech, Saint-Gobain (British Gypsum), SCS Group, Knauf, 8build, AECOM, Taylor Wimpey, Areen Design, VolkerFitzpatrick, BAM and Ryder Architecture have, to date, raised £21,500 for CRASH.

The beautiful setting for the Windsor Half Marathon has Windsor Castle as its backdrop, while the challenging but traffic-free course has plenty of hills spread along the route.

Congratulations go to Saint Gobain's Jonathan Male, who was the fastest CRASH runner with an impressive time of 1.26:37, while CRASH also gave special thanks to its sponsors AECOM, Imtech, 8build, Carillion and Builders' Merchants News.

CRASH’s Jenny Vaidya said: "This was a truly fantastic event with enough team spirit to spur on even the most weary of our runners! Thank you to everyone who took part making the day so wonderful and to all those who have generously sponsored their colleagues, friends and family members."
