JP Corry has presented a cheque for £8,970.09 to Multiple Sclerosis Northern Ireland and Alzheimer's Research UK following a fundraising drive.

Alzheimer's Research UK was selected as the companies chosen charity partner last year, as part of parent company Saint-Gobain’s ‘Together’ charity programme. JP Corry also supported local charity, Multiple Sclerosis Northern Ireland as the charity proved popular among employees.

Over the last year, employees, suppliers and customers of JP Corry took part in a number of fundraising activities including sponsored abseils, raffles, golf days and staff events. The funds raised from the generosity of those involved will be used to provide care and support to people living with dementia and those who are affected by Multiple Sclerosis in Northern Ireland.

Ciaran McConnell, managing director of JP Corry, said: “We’re very grateful to everyone who put such incredible effort into fundraising for both charities. It’s inspiring to see the efforts our colleagues, customers and suppliers put in each year, to ultimately aid care and research for such important causes.”

JP Corry recently announced its new 2017 charity partner is children’s charity Barnardos.
