Dulux Select Decorator Award winners announced

Dulux Trade has announced the winners of its Select Decorator Awards. Open to members of the Dulux Select Decorator scheme, entrants for this year’s competition were required to submit details of their best projects, complemented with statements from their clients.

Entries were then judged by a panel of painting and decorating experts from the Dulux Academy, Dulux Colour Team and Professional Team.

Since 2009, the annual competition has supported and championed highly skilled painters and decorators that take the utmost pride in their work. Rewarded for showcasing the best workmanship, product knowledge and project management skills in the industry, winners receive up to £1,500 in Bonusbond vouchers and a Dulux-accredited accolade to enhance their reputation.

Becky Davidson, senior brand manager at Trade Marketing UK, said: “We are thrilled for all the winners of the Dulux Select Decorator competition. As well as showing untiring dedication to providing the best possible experience for their customers, all of our winners this year have demonstrated exceptional technical skills that have helped transformed spaces in their own unique ways.”

Category: Interior Project costing over £3,000 and Grand Winner

Winner: Peter Smith from Bannockburn, Stirling

Category: Interior Project costing between £1,500 and £2,999

Winner: Anthony Nolan from Selby, North Yorkshire

Category: Interior Project costing up to £1,499

Winner: Andrew Sheasby from Littleover, Derbyshire

Category: Interior Project costing up to £1,499

Winner: Martin Connor from Sutton Coldfield,West Midlands
