Baxi has returned home happy after the Gas Industry Awards, having won in categories for both energy efficiency and customer service.

The manufacturer was among the winners, on an evening that brought 600 professionals together in London to celebrate the great work done in the gas industry over the last 12 months.

Held by the Energy and Utilities Alliance, the awards were staged for the seventh time with more than 100 entries submitted across 10 categories.

The Energy Efficiency Award was given in recognition of Baxi’s continued efforts to educate customers during callouts, as well as its digital content. Some of Baxi’s tips on keeping fuel bills to a minimum even appeared in national newspaper articles, helping to provide key consumer advice to homeowners across the UK and Ireland.

Work such as Baxi’s EASE (Engage, Adapt, Solve, Empower) initiative, which came off the back of experiences from more than 125,000 surveyed customers, helped it to secure the Customer Service Award.

Lee Robinson, customer service director at Baxi, said: “The 2017 Gas Industry Awards have been memorable for everyone at Baxi and our two wins just go to show the value of the work that the team puts in each and every day.

“We will strive to ensure this continues throughout the rest of 2017 and beyond, providing our customers with the high level of service that they have come to expect from Baxi.”
