Baxi Heating’s has partnered with the Alzheimer’s Society after being voted for by the employees.

The partnership will last for two years and colleagues from all over the business will take part in a variety of fundraising initiatives to raise money for Alzheimer’s.

The money will contribute towards ongoing research into dementia care, cause, cure and prevention – as well as various programmes aimed at improving the lives of those affected by the disease.

Ray Nash, from the Alzheimer’s Society Fundraising Team, said: “It’s wonderful that Baxi Heating has chosen to support Alzheimer’s Society. Dementia devastates lives, but dementia won’t win. Until the day we find a cure, we will be here for anyone affected by dementia, wherever they are, whatever they’re going through. We need more companies like Baxi Heating to join us now and unite against dementia.”

David Pinder, CEO of Baxi Heating, commented: “To be fundraising for such a worthy cause means a great deal to everyone in our company and we look forward to getting involved with the exciting fundraising activities.

“We hope to raise a significant amount of money this year which we hope will make an enormous difference to Alzheimer’s Society and everyone who benefits from their care.”
