As part of its ongoing growth strategy, National Buying Group (NBG) is welcoming the latest member to its growing community of independent merchants with the addition of Kent-based Trade Distribution Limited (TDL).
NBG partners are typically dynamic local businesses with a strong commitment to growth, service, quality and innovation and, as such, TDL fits perfectly the criteria for NBG membership.
Established 35 years ago and still family-owned, TDL is a successful plumbing, heating and bathroom distributor. The company has three branches around Maidstone in Kent and last year turned over £8.6 million including its wholly-owned high street bathroom retail brand, Oasis.
“Now that TDL has reached a substantial size, we felt we needed to join a buying group that matched that size and ambition, and NBG fitted the bill,” said TDL Director Jon Robinson.
“We were especially attracted by the size and type of supplier which NBG could offer us in our sector and NGB’s current members speak very highly of the sense of community that the group offers. We are looking forward to getting involved in NBG negotiating and networking, happy to work hard for others for the benefit of all.”
