A Bedford builders’ merchant has made a splash by unveiling an extensive new bathroom showroom.
Gibbs & Dandy recently invested £87,000 in a new 240m2 display area at its Barker's Lane branch.
More than 20 leading bathroom suppliers have been added to the showroom, including Ideal Standard, Utopia, Roca, Heritage, Crosswater, Matki and Aqualisa.
Tradespeople and the public were given an opportunity to explore the display area at the opening evening. Around 32 bays were displayed, showcasing a range of contemporary, modular, fitted and traditional bathroom styles.
Bathroom experts were also present to provide advice on fittings and answer customers' questions.
Gibbs & Dandy Branch Manager Stuart Harm said: “We identified that our customers have an interest in exploring bathroom ranges and that this event would be the best way to showcase our new, wider range of suppliers.
“It’s very encouraging to receive such positive feedback for the event from customers. Many attendees stayed well beyond the presentation’s finish time to explore the bathrooms on show and ask questions to the experts on hand.”
