Charities and community groups could win £500 worth of building materials thanks to Selco Builders’ Warehouse.
Every month from September 2018 to March 2019, the builders’ merchant will be giving away a prize of £500 worth of building materials to two organisations that serve their community.
The winners will be chosen by a panel of industry expert judges.
In March 2019, 12 finalists will be in with a chance to win a £5,000 cash prize, decided by a public vote.
Carine Jessamine, Selco’s Marketing Director, said: “We are fully committed to reinvesting in local communities across the UK, and the Selco Stars competition gives us a fantastic opportunity to do that.
“So many organisations do sterling work in the community, but struggle to make building projects or renovations happen due to a lack of funding, so the chance to win materials will offer a huge helping hand.
“On top of that, there is a £5,000 jackpot at the end of the scheme which is often enough money to keep some charities or community groups going for a number of years.”
