Reporting to: UK Sales Manager

The Role

To work in conjunction with the UK Sales Manager and take full responsibility for sales within the South East. The customer base will include national and Independent merchants, Direct Trading accounts and end users.

Responsibilities

· Conduct full product training sessions where applicable. Liaise and organise open invitation product demonstrations for merchants to be carried out by the merchant support team.

· Manage and develop allocated accounts, within designated area

· Devise and implement sales call plans working in conjunction with the relevant supplying merchant in order to sell the range of products to those identified end users.

· Ensure all nationally agreed promotional activities are fully implemented at local level within the designated post coded area.

· Identify potential new end user business to implement the Company’s pull through sales strategy.

· Demonstrate contact with plumbing training organisations to increase brand awareness

· Help to establish the brand as the number one preferred choice of professional plumbers and installers.

· Ensure all products are given prominent front of trade counter display exposure.

· Gather intelligence on competitors’ activities and product development.

· Implement effective and efficient journey and time management.

· Attend as required, trade exhibitions and thoroughly follow up all generated leads.

Education, Skills and Experience

· Full UK driving licence.

· Excellent communication and organisation skills.

· Minimum 3 years’ sales experience preferred.

· Customer focussed and commercially aware.

· IT literate – good knowledge of MS Office.

· Good standard of general education.
