ALFRETON: The strength of the product and service offering made by Recticel Insulation Products has been highlighted by a major award from the UK’s leading provider of timber and building supplies. Recticel was unveiled as ‘Supplier of the Year’ at the recent Internal Build exhibition and supplier conference organised by Jewson.
Held in Harrogate, the event brought together over one hundred of Jewson’s key suppliers including many industry-leading names such as Ideal Standard, Knauf and Tarmac. “We’re honoured to be singled out for this award, especially from such an illustrious field of suppliers,” comments Chris Hall, Recticel sales and marketing director. “It’s an even more remarkable achievement when you consider that Recticel was a relatively new supplier to Jewson, only having begun to supply in earnest earlier in 2009.
“One of the event’s main themes was that of ‘Working Together'. Recticel places a great deal of emphasis on adopting a partnership approach to its customers so it’s especially pleasing that Jewson has recognised this in such a prominent manner.”
Product performance and attention to quality control was another key element in Recticel’s success. “We use a manufacturing process that allows us to create insulation boards with a very uniform foam structure,” adds Mr Hall. “This gives our boards a superior compressive strength, an excellent surface and the ability to provide outstanding insulation performance.
“We look forward to combining this sort of product quality with our usual high levels of service and working together with Jewson to tackle the challenging market conditions in 2010.”
