MILTON KEYNES: The proposed changes to Part G, due to come into effect on 1 October 2009 have been delayed until 6 April 2010. Part G deals with sanitary conveniences, bathrooms, food preparation areas and hot water storage installations.
The number of requirements has been increased from three to six, and there is new guidance to support the amended and new requirements in a draft Approved Document and a revised Water Efficiency Calculator (September 2009).
