Mechanical and industrial contractors can now benefit from Plumbase Industrial’s new value engineering solutions to fulfill the needs of the commercial heating market.

The company, which is part of Grafton GB, has located its first branch in Hayes, West London. It plans to roll out more branches this year.

Aimed at mechanical contractors working on major building projects, Plumbase Industrial has secured agreements with high quality manufacturers to offer innovation and value across a range of products but with a particular focus on pipeline and mechanical engineering supplies.

John Rees, managing director of Plumbase Industrial, said: “We are taking the existing service ethic, technical knowledge and reputation of Plumbase into the large commercial market and combining it with true value engineering solutions. This means that mechanical and industrial contractors will have access to high quality, technologically innovative products from manufacturers at a competitive price.

“We have made this possible through our exclusive relationship with internationally-renowned suppliers – such as Viega in Germany – which is offering an attractive and viable alternative to what is currently available to pipework installers and providers of mechanical services in the UK’s commercial mechanical and industrial market.”

The company has deliberately selected Hayes for its inaugural site in order to capitalise on the highest level of construction activity in the capital since the recession, including new office developments – estimated at 11 million square feet of office space under construction in central London and in key development areas.

And along with its product and price offering, Plumbase Industrial has also recruited new colleagues with direct experience of the commercial contracting sector.

Mr Rees added: “We intend to provide an unrivalled level of service to local contractors and installers and demonstrate that Grafton GB is investing in having the best people, reputable suppliers and products to give contractors the equipment they can have full confidence in deploying on major construction projects.”
