Plumbers’ merchant Woodhouse & Sturnham is to join the Plumbing & Heating Group (PHG) next month, becoming the 21st member of the buying group.
Managing director John Sturnham said: “Joining a buying association has been on our agenda for some time, but once we were aware of the PHG formation we knew that was the group for us.
“We feel proud and privileged to be sitting around the table with some of the best businesses in our sector and we are sure that membership will prove fundamental to our own expansion plans.”
PHG chairman David Pochin added: “John Sturnham and his team run a highly respected and substantial business that will sit very well with our existing membership. Expanding the group is important, but we will only act when we see an opportunity to add to our quality and provide our suppliers with increasing volumes.”
Woodhouse & Sturnham will join the PHG with effect from 1 October 2013.
