Introducing No Weed, a range of weed-inhibiting products created by Danish manufacturer Dansand A/S.
The range of Dansand No Weed products is helping gardeners and landscapers solve weed problems on patios, driveways and pavements while being environmentally friendly, natural and durable.
Dansand products are the eco-friendly way to prohibit unwanted weed growth in block paving joints. Dansand’s range is suitable for use on new and old stone and block paving, whether for driveways, patios, tiles or bricks.
Furthermore, the Dansand products are easy to apply; all that’s needed is for you to rid existing weeds with environmentally friendly herbicide, scale down the joints with a scraper and then clean off the stones with water. Then you can simply sweep the joint filler into the joints from all angles. A filling knife may be needed to ensure the joints are filled completely and so the joint material is neatly compressed. Any excess can be stored in a dry place in case the paving needs further replenishment.
Currently, there are three products in the Dansand range available in the UK:
- Dansand Block Paving Sand – For narrow joints, this product helps create desert-like conditions to keep weeds at bay in a natural way
- Dansand Polymeric Block Paving For Solid Joints – Gives you solid joints that are durable, insect-repellent and weed-free
- Dansand Stone Dust for Paving for Dark Joints – Ideal for filling joints with a width of up to 20mm.
