Over 500 visitors and customers enjoyed a fantastic day and evening at the 2014 Robert Price Building Bonanza, hosted at its Newport branch.
Building on the success of last year’s event at Barry, this year’s Bonanza showcased the Newport branch with its covered drive-thru warehouse, self-service shop floor, extensive landscaping and patio display area and newly extended yard.
Robert Price staff pulled out all the stops to make this a memorable event with 90 suppliers and manufacturers exhibiting from every product group. Visitors from across South Wales made the most of the opportunity to learn from the experts about the latest products on the market and to benefit from a wide variety of informative practical demonstrations and special offers.
Customers, suppliers and staff enjoyed the convivial atmosphere in the sunshine. Prizes, goodie bags and free demonstration products ensured that everyone attending received a bonus keepsake.
The helpful and enthusiastic Newport staff gave guided tours of the branch and on the comprehensive range of products and services on offer, including the latest addition of a full range of civils products.
Robert Price product managers and specialists in timber, insulation, roofing, civils and heating and plumbing divisions were on hand to assist customers in their specialist areas. And not forgetting the rural customers, ‘Abergavenny Agricultural Supplies’ - the latest addition to the Robert Price Group - was also in attendance with a range of gates, fencing and land drainage products on display.
Commenting on the event, branch manager Chris Pasch-Jones, said: “This year’s Bonanza was both enjoyable and hugely beneficial for everyone who attended. We were delighted with the support from both suppliers and customers. There was a real buzz with so much to see and do. Customers were able to pick up a wealth of advice and product support, while making the most of the tempting special offers available on the day. The Bonanza also gave new customers a chance to see our fantastic branch. We are in a very accessible location here in Newport with dual carriageway links to the M4 in both directions and ample parking. It was a brilliant opportunity to showcase the scope and range of what Robert Price has to offer.”
