Snows Timber has become the latest supplier member of the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF). The company has pledged its support for the BMF's Wellness Campain, which aims to make merchant's businesses and staff 'fit for the future'.

In line with the campaign, Snows Timber is running 'Active Summer' - activities with kites and frisbees - to help customers and their families enjoy being active.

BMF managing director John Newcomb said: “We’re pleased to welcome Snows Timber to the BMF. We’re doubly pleased that Snows is engaging with the BMF’s Wellness Campaign by encouraging merchants to be more active. It’s a subject close to our heart and one we’ll be returning to on members’ day in September."

Snows Timber sales & marketing director Mark Bowers commented: “We all need to recognise how our wellbeing affects those we work with and the functioning of our organisations.

“Being even a little more active can bring both personal and business benefits. As an Investors in People employer, Snows Timber wants to encourage everyone - staff and customers - to help themselves to longer, healthier lifes.”
