BSS Industrial has raised £100,000 for Help the Hospices, a UK charity for hospice care.
Since the partnership began in 2012, BSS has supported the charity through various events including fancy-dress days and sporting achievements. Each of the 62 BSS branches are linked with a local hospice, so the money raised goes straight to a hospice in their community.
Chris Hufflett, BSS Industrial managing director, said: “A huge well-done to all my colleagues for their fantastic fundraising achievements which will help hospices up and down the country. What’s more, we have a huge summer of sport ahead of us which will be packed with themed fundraising activities, so I’m confident we will be increasing our total for Help the Hospices even further.”

Hospices provide vital care for people with terminal or life-limiting conditions and also support their families and carers. The £100,000 raised by the BSS team will make a huge difference to hospices across the UK.”
