Aggregate Industries has won at the annual Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Property triathlon. The team won the King Sturge Cup for the third time in four years, coming out as the fastest corporate team with a combined time of 3.28.53.

The fastest of the 45 Aggregate Industries colleagues participating were technical advisor Richard Wilks, charge hand for the North End Concrete Products Factory Martin Pitts, and weighbridge operator Jack Hindle. Mr Hindle recorded the second fastest time by a male under 30 at just 1.05.56.

The company paid for its employees' entrance fees, raising a total £2,997 to the Samaritans charity.

Mr Wilks said: "The JLL property triathlon is the leading mass participation event for our industry and is always a great experience for all levels. The whole Aggregate Industries team gave a superb overall performance with many personal best times achieved and we are extremely happy to have won the corporate cup again and are looking forward to defending it again next year."
