The Bathroom Manufacturers Association has announced the panellists for its second Sustainability Forum on 1st October.
The Forum, which will be held online, is broken down into a series of five sessions, each covering an aspect of sustainability.
Session one will look at water efficiency policy with panellists Kate Farmer of the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and Robert Allen of the Policy Connect think-tank.
Session two will be asking "how can we reduce waste in the bathroom sector?" The panellists are WRAP’s Jonathan Moore, Lakes’ Mike Tattam and the Recycle Now team.
Session three will debate whether the sector should be ditching the brochure in the name of sustainability, with panellists Angela Neve of VADO and Alex Lubbock of BIMobject.
Session four will explore how the bathroom industry can demonstrate its carbon credentials. On the panel will be MD of the Unified Water Label, Yvonne Orgill, Consultant at Stopford Energy, Daniel Shanley and BRE’s Pat Hermon.
In the final session of the day, BMA will be looking to the future and to the sustainable bathroom of 2050 in particular. Design expert Professor Paul Chamberlain of Sheffield Hallam University will be joined on the panel by Neoperl’s Christian Taylor-Hamlin and Roman Showers’ MD David Osborne.
