Leading insulation and interior building products distributor, CCF, has held a virtual event to highlight its aims for the rest of 2021 and the successes from last year. Catherine Gibson, Managing Director, shares key updates from the virtual event and CCF’s future plans.

As an essential business, CCF has continued to support the construction sector throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

This resulted in introducing new ways of working, including launching an improved click and collect ordering function, as well as asking many of our colleagues to work remotely or in line with new social distancing measures. Despite the challenge, we have not only adapted but managed to thrive.

A testament to this success is the fact that in 2020 CCF expanded into the HVAC market for the first time. Furthermore, many of our colleagues celebrated long service achievements and completed apprenticeships to help further their careers with us.

With much of this excellent work being done by colleagues remotely, including the attendance of our virtual business event this year, we have shown that no matter the challenges presented, CCF has come out stronger for it.

Building on what has been achieved in the last 12 months, we have continued to invest in our services. In 2021, CCF introduced a market leading delivery management system designed to offer a more responsive and improved way for customers to receive delivery updates and even opened a new branch in Enfield to add to our nationwide network.

With over 4,000 products and accessories available across the insulation, drywall, ceiling, partitioning, flooring and fire protection sectors from market leading brands, CCF is committed to ensuring customers continue to have access to a complete solution for whatever project they may be working on.

Providing our colleagues with the support they need has been another key focus for CCF. As a result, we have recently launched a detailed mental health and wellbeing strategy to provide extra support for all our colleagues. As part of this, designated wellbeing representatives will be trained by St John’s Ambulance and available to support our team to prioritise their mental health.

Moving forwards, new build residential and commercial building projects will continue to play a crucial role in the sector. With this in mind, at CCF we will continue to support our teams, customers and suppliers through delivering on our Completely Customer Focused promise to best serve the needs of the construction industry.
