The trio have been tasked with providing technical support to customers across a variety of large and small building projects.

In response to growing demand from construction professionals for technical support, leading insulation and interior building products distributor, CCF, has strengthened its technical team with three new recruits.

Andy Moores, Chris Roughneen, and Richard Gay have all been newly appointed as Technical Managers at CCF. Tasked with providing technical support to customers across a variety of large and small building projects, Moores, Roughneen and Gay will also act as a direct point of contact for CCF’s regional, national and branch sales teams. This support will help colleagues to answer technical queries and continuously improve knowledge across the business.

Moores joins the technical team from CCF’s regional sales team and prior to this worked across both technical and sales roles at Kingspan Insulation.  His experience will be used to support the technical requirements of both North and Central regions, with a particular focus on insulation growth.

Roughneen brings extensive construction product experience in technical and support roles, having worked across some of the best-known insulation manufacturers including Saint Gobain Insulation UK, ISOVER and Knauf Insulation. He will apply his extensive knowledge, including his insight as a qualified Standard Assessment Procedure assessor and training to become Association for Specialist Fire Protection Level 2 qualified in passive fire protection, to assist teams and customers across the country.

Gay adds his experience spanning across manufacturers such as Rockwool, and building product distributors and will be the first point of contact for customer and colleague technical enquiries across the South East and South West regions.

Jolyon Berg, Head of Technical at CCF, said: “Having the right people in place to support the increasing demand for building products and technical advice is vital. We know that demand is high, and with this in-mind welcoming three new recruits to the CCF technical team is a well-timed and extremely important investment.”
