NMBS has announced new dates for the 2021 NMBS Exhibition, which it hopes will once again allow NMBS members and suppliers to meet, network and make deals to advance their businesses.

After the 2020 Exhibition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, NMBS made the decision to move the dates of the 2021 Exhibition to 8 and 9 September, 2021, by which time it is widely hoped that social distancing restrictions will no longer be as arduous.

The Ricoh Arena in Coventry will again be the venue.

However, in a change to the previous format, the Exhibition will now be held over two days, instead of one, to allow more Members and Suppliers time to attend the event safely.

All other aspects of the popular industry event will remain the same as in previous years. Members who attend will be able to browse new products and offers from more than 300 suppliers and manufacturers from across the industry, while taking advantage of exclusive rebates, special offers and exhibition only discounts.

Those who attend and place orders, will also see the exclusive exhibition rebates extended to cover all invoices posted to their NMBS September Statement for any orders placed with NMBS Suppliers at the Exhibition.

The NMBS Exhibition is the biggest trading event of its kind within the builders’ merchant industry, typically bringing together more than 1,000 delegates to network and take advantage of the deals on offer. Suppliers often use the Exhibition to bring new products to market, making it a must-attend event for any independent Builders, Timber, Plumbing & Heating and Hardware merchant.

Chris Hayward, Managing Director of NMBS, said: “The NMBS Exhibition is the key trading event for our sector. Moving the event to September makes it far more likely that social distancing measures will have been relaxed, particularly considering the recent developments in finding a Coronavirus vaccine.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the Ricoh Arena next year, and we will do everything we can to make sure that the Exhibition can take place in 2021, while always ensuring the highest levels of safety and protection for our staff, Members and Suppliers.”
