The Builders Merchants Federation has announced that TV presenter and award-winning horticulturist David Domoney will host the BMF Young Merchants Conference on 6 October 2021 at the NEC, Birmingham.

Domoney has won an outstanding 30 Royal Horticultural Society Medals, including Chelsea Gold awards, and is regularly seen on TV sharing his expertise. For the past decade he has presented the Love Your Garden and the Love Your Weekend television series alongside Alan Titchmarsh. He is the resident gardener on This Morning and the gardening expert on James Martin’s Saturday Morning show.

As a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture, Domoney is passionate about encouraging the work of the next generation and is involved with several colleges of horticulture. He is also Garden Champion for the mental health charity SANE, an ambassador for Thrive, a charity that uses therapeutic horticulture to improve the lives of those living with disability, and founder of the British campaign Cultivation Street, supporting community gardens for better health.

In 2018, he was selected by HRH Prince Edward to receive the Award of Excellence in Horticulture in recognition of his many achievements.
