GROHE has made five new appointments in the UK, expanding its hub of project experts to a fifteen-strong team.

Glen Wilson, Head of Projects in the UK, who was appointed during the summer of 2019, led the recruitment process, hiring some of the best people in the industry to provide even better support and expertise to the A&D sector, in which GROHE is a world-leading supplier and partner.

The five new recruits will look after both existing clients in the UK whilst also generating new business development.

Liam Biggs brings more than 10 years of experience in the bathroom industry to his new role as Regional Specification Manager. With key established contacts in the A&D community, Biggs has a wealth of expertise when it comes to generating new business and meeting demand for client’s specification projects.

Mark Dekkers is to become Key Account Manager, Residential. He is well-versed in the contracts market following his previous sales role at Utopia Bathroom Group, bringing extensive industry knowledge spanning more than 30 years.

Danielle Matthews has been named Regional Specification Manager (North). Following a project consultancy role for a hard landscaping manufacturer, Matthews is returning to the bathroom industry, a sector she has worked in for 5 years previously.

Luke Forster is to become Regional Specification Manager (London). Forster has 18 years’ experience across the kitchen, construction and contact market.

Chandni Dalal joins GROHE as Projects Office Manager, bringing analytical and
managerial experience from her previous roles in the projects sector.

“We have made a significant investment into our team and are delighted with the new additional expertise and experience we now have amongst us”, said Wilson.

“This strengthens and expands the projects side of the business and creates the largest team ever in the UK. We are very fortunate to already be in a strong position with this sector of the market, with big intentions to grow this further in the coming year.

"Whilst the current climate brings unprecedented challenges for the industry, we are confident that the specification market will quickly bounce back as the UK economy now begins to reopen. As ever, we continue to work closely with our partners and clients during this uncertain time to provide ongoing support and expertise where needed”.
