The builders' merchant wants to recognise how hard each and every member of its team has worked throughout a very challenging year.

James Burrell Builders Merchants is set to reward all staff with a bonus for “2020” thanks to a strong year despite the year’s challenges.

The company, which has branches based in the North-East and Yorkshire, is in a position to show its gratitude to each member of staff for all their hard work and resilience through what has been a difficult year for many industries, including construction.

Mark Richardson, Managing Director, said: ‘We want to recognise how hard each and every member of our team has worked throughout 2020, which has been a very challenging year.

"We are very proud of our staff and the way they have adapted to changes, which has allowed us to continue to provide a high level of service to our customers.

"We would also like to thank all of our customers and Suppliers for their support this year and we look forward to a safe and busy 2021."

James Burrell is a family run company and understands the importance of staff being able to spend valuable time with loved ones over the festive period, this year more than ever.

Therefore, it will close for business on Tuesday 23 December and re-open on Monday 4 January to ensure staff have a well-earned break.
