Russell Roof Tiles has appointed John Dervey as Sales Executive to help meet unprecedented growth and support customer demand across the North of England.

With more than 15 years’ experience, John Dervey has already gained invaluable sector knowledge while working as a Business Development Manager at one of the UK’s largest service roofing contractors.

Dervey’s appointment comes at a significant time for Russell Roof Tiles, which currently employs 140 staff across its three sites in Burton on Trent and in Lochmaben, Scotland.

Dervey specialist knowledge of the roofing sector in the North of England, establishing accounts across all sectors from new build to refurbishment, will be crucial in supporting customers to ensure their requirements are met efficiently. He is responsible for increasing the brand’s market share, as part of the manufacturer’s significant growth plans.

Dervey says that working closely with contractors and developers in previous roles has allowed him to have greater understanding of the scope of work from procurement to installation.  

He commented: “I worked closely with Russell Roof Tiles in my previous employment and have always held the products and the team in high regard. Customer service at the firm has always been over and above the competitors which strengthens the case for the company ethos, being driven toward the customer and overall service.

“The company has a very a clear ambition and it genuinely feels like we are all working together to achieve the same goal. We have also been extremely well looked after through the Covid-19 pandemic which is worth a lot to me.”
