The company has been given the ‘Best Flexible Benefits Plan’ award at the Employee Benefits Awards 2020.
The award was presented to Saint-Gobain in recognition of its online benefits platform ‘bubble’, which supports colleagues in the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands.
‘bubble’ launched in 2018 to provide 16,000 employees with access to a wide range of flexible benefits and discounts at their fingertips; allowing them to select and change employee benefits to suit their individual lifestyles.
The online solution offers a range of benefits such as car and cycle to work schemes, retail discounts, medical benefits, holiday flex, easy access to amend pension contributions and much more. Employees can also find financial tools such as budget planners and mortgage calculators.
The judges praised ‘bubble’ for its engagement success with colleagues since the introduction of the platform and paid tribute to Saint-Gobain for its collaborative approach prior to launching; primarily achieved through focus groups of randomly selected employees across the UK.
In its 18th year, the Employee Benefits Awards, in association with Aon, took place virtually on Thursday 29th October. The annual ceremony recognises the outstanding achievements of organisations who strive for innovation in rewards and benefits.
