The guide is printed in a handy, pocket-size format and is provided to merchants as part of Setcrete’s PoS and merchant support package, for distribution to customers and to help builders in selecting the optimum product for their job.
Setcrete’s product guide echoes the intuitive design of the range’s clear and simple product packaging, which facilitates quick and easy selection, focusing on each product’s key performance capability and its primary application. Both the packaging and product guide make intelligent use of strong colour-coding and simple graphical information to further ease product selection.
Consistent pictorial icons quickly convey information such as application thicknesses and ‘walk on hard’ time for levelling compounds, and similar graphics provide visual checks for curing and drying times for DPMs and primers.
The ‘quick search’ product selector offers a simple-to-follow visual reference guide to match products with intended applications and compatibility with different floorcoverings. The product selector also indicates when multiple product options are available for a particular application and, for example, which levelling compounds are compatible with underfloor heating.
The guide provides detailed information on subfloor surface preparation and, importantly, includes and step-by-step guide to moisture measurement and fasttrack solutions for managing excess moisture levels – by far the biggest cause of flooring installation failures.
