The Sika Everbuild roadshow is once again giving tradespeople a chance to take a closer look at the company's expansive range of products at builders’ merchants across the UK.

Headed by the company’s applications team, the roadshow will appear at merchants throughout the year and across the country to offer product demonstrations and showcase the benefits of the Sika Everbuild product range.

As well as offering tradespeople the chance to learn more about the products and how they can make projects run smoother, Sika Everbuild also offers product training to merchants’ counter staff to bring them up to date on the latest developments and equip them to give customers the best possible advice.

Sika Everbuild is now taking bookings from merchants who feel their customers could benefit from the event. Merchants can specify which products they would prefer to highlight to fit with their key ranges.

Commenting on the roadshows, Andrew Scanlon, Applications Manager at Sika Everbuild, said: “We began our roadshows in 2019 to celebrate the launch of Sika Everbuild’s ultimate sealant and adhesive, EB25.

“Since then, the roadshows have become ever more popular, with merchants and their customers really seeing the benefits of learning more about the full range of Everbuild and Sika products and how they can work in different settings.

“We’re keen to demonstrate that we have a full range of solutions available and that Sika Everbuild is the perfect partner for every build. Now, we’re able to offer tailored roadshows for specific products – for example, if a merchant wants to shine a light on landscaping during the summer, we can support that with a roadshow focused on our landscaping range. We’re keen to work with our customers to make sure the roadshows work for them.”

The pandemic has led to new ways of working throughout the sector, and Sika Everbuild’s applications team has adjusted the roadshows too, ensuring that the events are fully covid-safe.

The team has incorporated new safety measures in line with the government’s current guidance, in order to provide a safe experience for visitors and staff. The roadshows are designed to be set-up outdoors, and the demo marquees feature hand sanitiser stations and signage directing visitors where to stand to enable full social distancing.

Scanlon added: “We restarted the roadshows earlier this year, and we have had excellent feedback from our merchant customers across the board. We’re now offering roadshows the length and breadth of the country, so tradespeople can look out for the van pulling into a merchant near them soon!”
