Spinks listed as one of the 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2020

Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire based builders’ and plumbing merchants; AE Spink (Spinks) is listed one of London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ 2020.

Spinks, was established in Doncaster in 1926 and has seen significant growth over the 95 years it has been trading. The family owned & managed business has built a reputation for its vast supply of stock and its knowledgeable staff which has led to repeat business from tradesmen, self builders and the public, helping the company to grow and expand.

Spinks now has six branches in Doncaster, Leeds, Sheffield and Worksop, four plumbers’ merchants and two builders' merchants. It also has bathroom showrooms in Doncaster, Worksop and Leeds.

The company has seen exponentially growth over the last three years, including the investment in new builders' merchant and plumbers' merchant branches and a bathroom showroom in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Spinks, now offers coverage across South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, and West Yorkshire and despite the impact of Covid has continued to grow its sales in 2020.
