The brand of heavy-duty hand cleaner has launched a new online competition.

Following successes from plasterers in 2018 and mechanics in 2019, Swarfega is inviting tradespeople to share images of difficult tasks they face in their profession in a bid to win prices and see their trade crowned Toughest Trade for 2020.

After a hard-fought battle, the 2019 title was awarded to mechanic Peter Derbyshire who proved his credentials with a photo showing him working in a confined space at great heights.

Throughout February Swarfega is challenging tradespeople to post pictures of difficult working situations on their Facebook or Twitter page with the hashtag #ToughestTrade and a short explanation why they think their trade should win the 2020 accolade.

Using its "Tough-O-Meter", Swarfega will then assess each picture and choose the one showing the toughest task. The top five will then be put to a social media vote. The winner will receive £200 in Amazon vouchers and the trade that they represent will be crowned Swarfega’s New Toughest Trade for 2020. The runners-up in places 2-5 will receive a £50 Amazon voucher.

The first 10 people to post their toughest task picture will receive a pack of TOUGH by Swarfega Gift Packs.
