Builders’ merchant Thompson & Parkes in Kidderminster is supplying building materials to the West Midland Safari Park.

Working closely with the park’s project development team, Thompson & Parkes has sourced a wide range of materials for the park’s latest development including timber, plywood, insulation, building blocks, aggregates and drainage.

Trading and supplying the building trade and DIY market throughout Worcestershire and Shropshire for over 80 years, Thompson & Parkes employs more than 20 people locally and invests in the community through partnerships with schools and nurseries and supports local charities and community initiatives.

Thompson & Parkes' Andy Lowndes said: “This last year has been challenging for everyone so as a local business and employer we are delighted to be supplying such a well-known local attraction as the West Midland Safari Park.

“Providing materials for the project, together with so many other local businesses, is fantastic as it’s all helping to support our local economy.

“West Midland Safari Park is a much loved and popular local attraction, and we can’t wait until it’s open.”
