DERBY: Grafton Group-owned Buildbase has refurbished its five-acre depot in the city.
John Lake, Buildbase regional directo,r said: "The company has made considerable investment to upgrade the branch and make it one of the most impressive builders merchants in the Midlands.
"We're looking forward to welcoming customers and showing them the new facilities. We have many loyal customers who have been trading here for generations and this is a very exciting time as we move into a new era," Mr Lake said.
The new facilities double the size of the main sales area for building materials, roofing, Hirebase and offices.
The plumbing and heating business relocated from a separate branch in Great Northern Road, to the Parcel Terrace site and now includes a kitchen and bathroom showroom.
The upgrade took 18 months to complete and also include a timber mill and a hard landscaping display area for paving, walling and fencing products.
