NEWCASTLE: Independent plumbing and pipeline merchant, Crossling, has won the Lorne Stewart SLAM Award for Distributor of the year 2009.
The award represents Lorne Stewart's formal acknowledgment of the excellent service given by Crossling over the past year.
Mark Bullows, Crossling's Newcastle branch manager said: " We are very honoured to have won this award. Through the commitment of our branches, and the 100% support of all our staff, we have won against stiff competition from BSS, PTS, Pipe Center and Plumb Center, and have proved that Crossling provides an excellent service."
The Award was formally given by Lorne Stewart's Ross Maynard to Crossling's Mark Bullows at the Slam Charity Awards Dinner Dance held last month at Staverton Park Hotel and Golf Country Club in Daventry.
