A new website has been unveiled as part of Howarth Timber Group's 175th anniversary celebrations.
Howarth-timber.co.uk now allows building professionals to purchase items online, and either collect them in branch or have them delivered to a construction site.
The site’s ‘Your Jobs’ section allows customers to add products individually or as a group to form quotes, which can then be easily ordered when their own end clients confirm they want to proceed with a project. It has a feature that adjusts prices during times of economic change, in order to keep customers informed about sudden price rises or drops.
The ‘Your Favourites’ section, meanwhile, will give customers the opportunity to easily access products they regularly buy.
The new ‘Click and Go’ service and already established ‘Click and Collect’ service have both been designed to speed up the purchasing and collecting service.
Howarth’s online Timber Training Academy was launched earlier this year to develop digital skills in the building industry.
