A stunning show garden, which Gibbs & Dandy's Hereford branch contributed to the creation of, has won Gold at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

Gibbs & Dandy Hereford, supplied the Fresh Sawn Oak for the bespoke design by the garden designer, Chris Beardshaw.

The Morgan Stanley Garden for Great Ormond Street Hospital was a rich, green woodland scheme, with pockets of colourful plants. It had a water feature and a main structure, which was inspired by a Japanese summer house. The timber supplied by Gibbs & Dandy was used to create this structure.

Now that the show had ended, the entire display will be dismantled and transported to Great Ormond Street Hospital. The garden will then be re-assembled and set up as a permanent feature, to be enjoyed by parents and families of the children undergoing care at the hospital.

Richard Flower, manager of Gibbs & Dandy Hereford, said: “It’s amazing news that the garden won Gold. It’s a beautiful design and we’re proud of the contribution we made. The oak that we supplied was specially imported from France.

“The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is a world-famous event, so it’s a great honour to be part of it.”
